These port contour cutters cut the face, counterbore, countersink, radius and drill tap diameter in one pass. Achieves perfect concentricity since tools are ground between centers. Cutters are designed for balanced tip cutting and even distribution of chip load for maximum life between grinds. Tool life is also increased by form relieving cutting edges. Type I and II have identical contours but best results are obtained with Type II, whole body O.D. is ground to fit a standard bushing for accurate alignment and pilot support. (Type I has unground body.) Cutter geometry is to standard practice and these tools can be used efficiently on most common types of material.
